It’s official: women are currently leading the advertising industry in a big way. Take the former Apple executive Bozoma St. John who is currently serving as the Chief Brand Officer of the ridesharing app company Uber. Bozoma St. John has been a force for years and recently caught the public’s attention while she was an executive at Apple with an engaging presentation at one of the company’s high profile marketing events. Today Bozoma St. John serves as the executive who is in charge of leading the rebranding efforts for a tech company that has been on everyone’s lips in recent days. Then there is advertising powerhouse Lori Senecal.

 

According to Forbes, Lori Senecal is a graduate of the prestigious McGill University who has gone on to conquer the world of advertising first through her work with the firm McCann Worldgroup where she was able to showcase her talent for being entrepreneurial by helping to found a new division that was an important move for the company. Because of Lori Senecal’s excellent record on delivering results for McCann Worldgroup she was able to climb the corporate ladder there and eventually rose to the position of being named the president of McCann Erickson New York. Lori would eventually go on take the enterprising spirit that she had honed at these firms and apply it to her own endeavors. After Lori Senecal had conquered the formidable challenge of starting and running her own business she decided that the time was right to leave her firm and jump back into the corporate world.
